Role Description The IT Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The IT Technician will install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and network equipment, ensuring systems are functioning reliably. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, providing technical support to end users, and responding to service requests in a timely manner. The role involves assisting with system updates, basic network troubleshooting, and documenting solutions and procedures. The IT Technician will also provide user guidance and training on common tools and systems, and collaborate with other team members to improve IT processes and service quality.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues effectively.
Candidates should possess solid Information Technology knowledge, including operating systems, basic networking, and common productivity software.
Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and communication skills to support users with patience and clarity.
Candidates should possess the ability to deliver Training and basic user education on tools, applications, and best practices.
Candidates should ideally have experience in an IT helpdesk or similar support role.
