About the Opportunity
Young Edsplorer is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Nutritionist / Food Educator / Workshop Facilitator to conduct an interactive Food Awareness & Nutrition Workshop for school students in Kolkata.
The objective of this programme is to help students understand the importance of food, nutrition, healthy eating habits, food choices and the impact of their everyday decisions on their health and well-being — through an engaging, age-appropriate and experiential learning approach.
We are looking for someone who can go beyond a traditional classroom lecture and make nutrition interesting, relatable and memorable for students.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct engaging and interactive Food Awareness / Nutrition Workshops for school students on 8th & 9th October 2026.
Explain concepts related to nutrition, balanced diets, healthy eating, food choices and food awareness in a simple and student-friendly manner.
Use interactive activities, discussions, demonstrations, games, quizzes, real-life examples and storytelling to keep students engaged.
Encourage students to think critically about their everyday food choices and eating habits.
Create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and participating actively.
Adapt the workshop delivery according to the age group and learning level of students.
Make the session educational while ensuring that it remains fun, practical and experiential.
Coordinate with the Young Edsplorer team and school representatives for smooth execution of the programme.
Ensure professional and energetic facilitation throughout the workshop.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should:
Have a background in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Health & Wellness, Education or a related field.
Have prior experience conducting workshops, awareness programmes or interactive sessions for children/students.
Be confident, energetic and comfortable speaking to groups of students.
Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
Be able to simplify technical nutrition concepts into easy-to-understand and relatable content.
Have a strong ability to engage students through activities and discussions rather than relying solely on presentations.
Be creative in designing or delivering interactive learning experiences.
Be available in Kolkata on both 8th and 9th October 2026.
