Role Description The Network Administrator for Canada Opportunities is a full-time, on-site role based in Canada. This role is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing the organization’s network infrastructure to support secure and efficient operations. Daily tasks include configuring network devices, managing servers, and ensuring stable connectivity across offices and systems. The Network Administrator will handle incident response, troubleshoot network and system issues, and provide technical support to staff and consultants. The role also includes implementing security best practices, coordinating with external vendors when needed, and documenting network configurations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Administration and System Administration to manage and maintain core infrastructure.
Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose and resolve network and system issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess skills in Network Security to implement and monitor security controls, protect data, and mitigate risks.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and common network monitoring tools.
Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments and user management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and documentation.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a client-focused environment.
