Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to oversee and manage the daily shift
operations of the compounding and grinding sections, ensuring
to make good quality compound, compound Testing and also grinding free from any
type of contamination, Increase efficiency of the machines & Man with
optimum utilization & follow the 6s.
Key Responsibilities
· Shift Management: Plan daily compounding and
grinding schedules to meet volume targets.
· Process Monitoring: Control & follow the
SOP mixing temperatures, grinding parameters.
· Material Optimization: Minimize
compound or chemical rejection during compound blending and scrap regrinding
stages.
· Troubleshooting: Resolve real-time
machinery jams, throughput drops, and compounding formulation variances
immediately.
· Team Leadership: Allocate manpower across
blending and grinding stations during the shift.
· Maintenance Coordination: Report
mechanical or electrical faults to engineering teams to minimize downtime.
· 5S & Safety: Maintain department 5s and
Safety during the shift
· Documentation: Maintain accurate shift logs, batch
production records (BPR), and material reconciliation sheets.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure
adherence to company policies and procedures.
Maintain
compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Support
internal and external audits.
Educational Qualification
Essential: Diploma in Plastics Technology

/ Qualification]
Preferred: Advance Diploma in Computer Application

Experience
Minimum Experience Required:
2-4 Year
Preferred Experience:
Plastics,
Polymer Processing, manufacturing.
Mixing,
compounding, and grinding operations
Injection
moulding.
Technical Competencies
Knowledge
of plastic resin properties, additives, fillers, and blending
formulations.
Troubleshooting
skills for mixer, crushers, and pulveriser.
Understanding
of PLC-based SCADA systems, and temperature controllers.
Knowledge
of formulation, manpower and energy cost.
