Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to supervise shop-floor manufacturing, assembly, or industrial processing operations at the Ghiloth (Rajasthan) production facility. The S1 Production Supervisor coordinates daily shift activities, ensures strict adherence to manufacturing schedules, and maintains plant-level safety, quality, and output metrics to meet organizational targets.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Shift Management: Assign tasks to plant operators, monitor production lines, and resolve immediate bottlenecks to hit standard production targets.
Quality Assurance: Monitor processing parameters, conduct regular spot-checks, and ensure finished products conform to specified standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Safety & Housekeeping: Enforce strict compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) guidelines, personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols, and 5S housekeeping standards.
Process Efficiency: Track machine downtimes, supervise basic preventative maintenance, and implement minor workflow changes to minimize material scrap and rework.
Reporting & Data Maintenance: Compile accurate logs of shift outputs, material consumption, equipment malfunctions, and workforce attendance.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure all production activities adhere strictly to company policies, statutory regulations, and standard environmental guidelines.
Educational Qualification
Essential: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
Preferred: Certified training in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma Green Belt methodologies.
