Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer – Java Backend to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and database technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design efficient data models and queries.
Implement application security, authentication, authorization, and data validation.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA, and product teams.
Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
Must-Have Skills
5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17+.
Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
Experience with JPA/Hibernate.
Good understanding of multithreading, collections, exception handling, and Java design patterns.
Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Good to Have
Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.
Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies.
Experience with JUnit, Mockito, or TestNG.
Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
