Candidate Profile

Practical and able to understand how a drawing will actually be fabricated and installed
Able to meet deadlines and respond quickly to project requirements
Familiar with professional drawing submission standards
Important
This is not purely a drafting position. The successful candidate should have the ability to understand the technical requirements of a project and produce drawings that are practical for fabrication, consultant approval and site installation.
Experience specifically in sauna, steam, hammam, spa or wellness projects is highly desirable but not mandatory if the candidate has strong shop-drawing and construction experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare shop drawings and technical drawings for wellness and spa installations.
Prepare detailed drawings for:
Sauna rooms and sauna cabins
Steam rooms and hammams
Specialty wellness rooms
Experience showers
Ice rooms, ice fountains and cold plunge areas
Infrared rooms/loungers and other wellness equipment
Timber structures, benches, platforms and internal fittings
Prepare fabrication and installation drawings with accurate dimensions and construction details.
Develop plans, elevations, sections and detailed construction details.
Prepare drawings showing timber framing, insulation, vapor barriers, cladding, benches, doors, glass, lighting and equipment locations.
Coordinate equipment dimensions and connection requirements with architectural and MEP drawings.
Review manufacturer technical drawings, manuals and CAD files and incorporate relevant information into shop drawings.
Prepare drawings based on site measurements and existing conditions where required.
Coordinate drawings with project specifications, BOQs and equipment selections.
Identify dimensional or technical conflicts before drawings are issued for approval.
Revise drawings based on consultant/client comments and maintain revision control.
Prepare drawings for consultant/client approval and site installation.
Coordinate with the Technical Design team, project team, suppliers and installation teams.
Maintain an organized library of CAD blocks, standard details, equipment drawings and project drawings.
Assist with preparation of as-built drawings when required.
Ensure drawings follow professional CAD standards, including layers, dimensions, annotations, title blocks, revisions and drawing numbering.
Required Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
Ability to read and understand architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
Ability to produce professional shop drawings independently from technical information.
Good understanding of dimensions, construction methods, materials and installation requirements.
Ability to work with DWG, DXF and PDF drawings.
Ability to interpret manufacturer drawings, technical manuals and product specifications.
Knowledge of 3D CAD / SketchUp / Revit / SolidWorks or similar software would be an advantage.
Good understanding of drawing coordination and revision procedures.
