Role Overview
As an Infection Prevention Spec I, you will assess, evaluate, and address the needs of professional staff in infectious disease and infection prevention and control practices. You will identify and investigate trends, recommend resolutions, and monitor policies to ensure compliance with infection prevention standards. This role serves as a vital resource for nursing and other healthcare professionals, promoting a safe environment for all.

What You Will Do
Assess and evaluate infection prevention needs for professional staff.
Identify and investigate trends in infectious diseases and recommend resolutions.
Monitor and analyze practices, policies, and systems to ensure compliance with infection prevention standards.
Serve as a resource for nursing and other healthcare professionals on infection prevention practices.
Collaborate with teams to implement strategies for preventing nosocomial infections.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or other health-related field.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and electronic health records.
Basic proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, or related field.
Graduate coursework in statistics, clinical microbiology, epidemiology, and infection prevention and control.
