Role Description The Senior Business Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for driving business planning, performance analysis, and operational improvements across Taxcart’s global tax solutions. In this position, the individual will analyze business data and customer trends, identify opportunities to optimize product adoption, and support strategic initiatives that enhance revenue and customer satisfaction. The Senior Business Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, sales, customer success, and finance to translate business requirements into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. Daily tasks include preparing reports and dashboards, leading business reviews, refining processes for customer onboarding and support, and contributing to market and competitive assessments. This role also involves engaging with key customers to understand their needs, provide guidance on best practices, and ensure a high standard of service and communication.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation, business performance tracking, and decision-making based on quantitative and qualitative insights.
Demonstrated ability in business planning and general business management, including setting goals, defining KPIs, and executing strategic initiatives.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders and collaborate effectively across remote teams.
Customer service orientation with experience supporting business clients, resolving issues, and improving customer outcomes in a B2B or SaaS environment.
Familiarity with tax, finance, or SaaS products, especially solutions related to sales tax, VAT, GST, or ERP integrations, is highly beneficial.
Proficiency with business analytics tools and productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, BI dashboards, CRM systems).
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic global business context.
