Role Description The Organizational Development Manager is a temporary, remote role responsible for designing and implementing initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness and support business strategy. This position oversees diagnostics and assessments to identify capability gaps, recommends organizational structures, and develops change management plans to improve performance and employee engagement. The role includes creating and delivering leadership and talent development programs, partnering with HR and business leaders to align workforce planning with organizational goals, and monitoring the impact of development initiatives through data-driven evaluation. The Organizational Development Manager will collaborate across departments to streamline processes, enhance communication, and ensure that organizational development activities support the company’s growth in the renewable energy sector.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Organizational Development and Organizational Effectiveness skills, with experience designing and implementing OD strategies.
Candidates should possess HR Management expertise, including experience partnering with HR and business leaders on change management, talent development, and workforce planning.
Candidates should possess Leadership Development skills, with a track record of creating and delivering programs that build leadership capability at multiple levels.
Candidates should possess Analytical Skills, including the ability to use data, metrics, and assessments to diagnose organizational issues and evaluate interventions.
Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or OD certifications are an asset.
Experience in large, matrixed, or global organizations, preferably within energy, technology, or manufacturing sectors, is highly beneficial.
Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
