Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Branch Sales Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Branch Sales Manager oversees branch-level sales operations, drives achievement of revenue and business targets, and manages a team of sales professionals. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring lead generation, reviewing conversion metrics, and ensuring high-quality customer service. The role involves coordinating with credit and operations teams, managing key customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Branch Sales Manager also analyzes market trends, identifies new business opportunities, and prepares regular performance reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications
Strong sales management and business development skills, including target planning, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
Experience leading and mentoring sales teams, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
Customer relationship management skills, with a focus on service quality, issue resolution, and long-term engagement.
Competence in market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and identifying local growth opportunities.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as credit, operations, and collections to ensure smooth branch functioning.
Sound understanding of retail lending or NBFC/financial services business models is preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and local languages beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Prior experience in branch management or frontline sales leadership, ideally within financial services or related sectors.
High level of integrity, result orientation, and readiness to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
