About the Role
The Organic World is seeking an experienced Head - Supply Chain to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations across the retail network. The role will be responsible for procurement planning, warehousing, inventory management, logistics, distribution, demand forecasting, and process improvement to ensure product availability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end supply chain operations for stores and warehouses.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
Manage demand planning, inventory control, replenishment, and distribution.
Optimize warehouse operations, transportation, and logistics costs.
Ensure high product availability while minimizing stock-outs and excess inventory.
Collaborate with Category, Procurement, Operations, and Store teams for seamless execution.
Monitor and improve KPIs such as Fill Rate, Inventory Turns, OTIF, Shrinkage, and Logistics Costs.
Drive automation, process improvements, and supply chain digitization initiatives.
Manage vendor performance, third-party logistics partners, and warehouse service providers.
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in Grocery Retail, FMCG, Supermarket, or Food Retail.
Strong experience in warehouse operations, inventory planning, and logistics management.
Proven track record of driving supply chain efficiency and cost optimization.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, WMS, and supply chain analytics tools.
Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
