Role Description The Merchandiser role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Merchandiser is responsible for planning, organizing, and presenting products in retail environments to maximize visibility, sales, and customer engagement. Daily activities include coordinating with store staff and suppliers, monitoring stock levels, arranging product displays, implementing promotional strategies, and ensuring accurate pricing and labeling. The role also involves collecting market and customer feedback, analyzing sales performance, and collaborating with marketing and sales teams to align merchandising plans with business objectives. The Merchandiser maintains store standards, adheres to brand guidelines, and supports a positive customer experience on the shop floor.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with store teams, customers, and management.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide helpful support, handle queries, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.
Candidates should possess Sales and Retail skills to drive product performance, understand store operations, and support revenue growth.
Candidates should possess Marketing skills to implement in-store promotions, support brand visibility, and align merchandising with campaigns.
Basic understanding of inventory management and visual merchandising principles.
Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced retail environment in the Greater Bengaluru Area.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Prior experience in merchandising, retail, or FMCG sectors is an advantage.
Minimum educational qualification: Higher secondary or bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferred.
