Role Overview
As a Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). You'll assist in patient care, respond to emergent situations, and contribute to a compassionate healthcare environment. Your work directly supports the RN team and enhances the overall patient experience.

What You Will Do
Assist the RN in providing patient care to meet safety and comfort needs.
Provide input to help plan and implement patient care.
Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.
Participate in ongoing education to enhance your skills and knowledge.

What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR current enrollment in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR foreign-trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of experience in a similar role.
Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
CNA certification preferred.
