Job Summary SAP IS-U Data Architect / Lead (Remote)
Lead the data architecture strategy and governance for a large SAP S/4HANA implementation in the utilities sector.
Define standards for data migration, governance, quality, and master data management across the program.
Direct business and technical teams in designing scalable data models and integration solutions.
Oversee (not personally execute) data mapping, cleansing, validation, conversion, and reconciliation activities.
Own project planning, timelines, risk management, and deliverables for all data-related workstreams.
Coordinate with functional, technical, and integration leads to ensure alignment with overall program delivery.
Direct the testing strategy, cutover planning, and post-go-live data validation (with execution by the data team).
Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the data team.
Represent the data workstream in steering committee and executive-level meetings and updates.
Focus on utility industry-specific data domains (customer, meter/device, asset data).
Ensure adherence to program-level project management and stakeholder communication best practices.
