Job Summary (VMware Automation and Aria Suite Consultant): Remote
Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of VMware Aria Suite (now VCF Automation, Operations, etc.) and SaltStack.
Oversee installation, configuration, management, upgrading, troubleshooting, and customization of Aria Suite components (LCM, Operations, Network, Logs, Automation) and SaltStack.
Work directly with customers to define business and technical requirements for private and hybrid cloud solutions.
Design and implement multi-site architectures, workload provisioning/management, configuration management, and disaster recovery.
Conduct technical discussions, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions for customers and internal teams.
Integrate Aria Suite with third-party infrastructure, storage, networking, and security platforms.
Develop technical documentation, design documents, and best practices for Aria Suite deployments.
Mentor and guide junior technical consultants in troubleshooting and optimization.
Participate in pre-sales activities, assisting in scoping and positioning Aria Suite solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
Utilize expertise in creating workflows, blueprints, dashboards, reports, and compliance configurations within Aria Suite.
Integrate automation solutions using REST API, NSX, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and similar tools.
Implement CI/CD automation for secure and tested deployments.
Maintain strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Requires a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field and various VMware certifications (VCP-CMA/VCF preferred).
Requires 15+ years of VMware experience; 10+ years in engineering, JavaScript, and VMware technologies.
