Role Description The Vice President of Development (contract, remote) will lead fundraising and development initiatives to support HPIPL’s strategic growth and mission. This role will oversee the design and execution of development plans, including donor cultivation, relationship management, and philanthropic partnerships aligned with smart infrastructure projects. The Vice President will manage annual and planned giving programs, develop budgets for development activities, and track performance against financial goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional projects with leadership, preparing proposals and impact reports, identifying new funding opportunities, and ensuring transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires independent work in a remote setting, with regular virtual collaboration with executive leadership and key partners.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Planned Giving and Philanthropy, with experience building and sustaining long-term donor relationships.
Candidates should possess skills in Annual Giving, including managing campaigns and donor engagement programs.
Candidates should possess skills in Budgeting, with the ability to forecast, allocate, and monitor resources for development initiatives.
Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including planning, execution, and evaluation of complex development projects.
Extensive experience in development, fundraising, or non-profit management, preferably in infrastructure, technology, or related sectors.
Strong strategic planning, analytical, and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate impact and ROI to diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with executive teams.
Advanced degree in Business, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
