Role Description The Senior Supply Chain Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Abroad. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and supply management to support the company’s consulting services and internal requirements. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing supply and demand data, forecasting material and resource needs, monitoring stock levels, and optimizing procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing. The Senior Supply Chain Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, implement process improvements, and use analytical insights to enhance operational efficiency and risk management. The role also involves reporting key performance metrics, supporting budgeting and planning activities, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Demand Planning and Supply Management skills to forecast needs and manage end-to-end supply chain activities.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and support decision-making and process optimization.
Candidates should possess solid Inventory Management skills to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce shortages, and minimize excess inventory.
Candidates should possess Procurement skills to manage sourcing, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure cost-effective and timely purchasing.
Candidates should have experience in supply chain management, operations, or logistics, preferably in professional services or consulting environments.
Candidates should have strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor relationship skills.
Candidates should be proficient in using ERP or supply chain management software and MS Excel or similar tools.
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field is required; a relevant master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is an advantage.
