Role Description The Mern Stack Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js as part of the core product team. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing front-end components, building RESTful APIs, integrating databases, and ensuring responsive, secure, and scalable application architectures. The role involves collaborating with designers, digital marketing teams, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, as well as debugging issues and optimizing performance. The developer will participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and follow best practices for security and quality in all deliverables. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong MERN stack development skills, including proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
Candidates should possess front-end web development skills, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive design, and UI component libraries (e.g., Material UI, Bootstrap).
Candidates should possess back-end and API development skills, including RESTful API design, authentication/authorization (JWT/OAuth), and integration with third-party services.
Candidates should possess database and deployment skills, including schema design in NoSQL/SQL databases, version control with Git, and familiarity with cloud platforms or DevOps tools.
Candidates should possess problem-solving and collaboration skills, including debugging, performance optimization, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.
Relevant skills such as knowledge of security best practices, experience with Agile/Scrum, and exposure to AI-driven or data-intensive applications are beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
