Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality and compassionate care to our patients. Working under the direct supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you will perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our healthcare team, ensuring patients receive the best possible experience.

What You Will Do
Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment.
Take medical histories and measure/record vital signs to assist in patient assessments.
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring they are informed and at ease.
Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, providing necessary support and tools.
Demonstrate clinical competence in performing a wide variety of clinical skills related to ambulatory patient care.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience preferred.
Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA/CMA), American Medical Technologists (RMA), National Health Career Associations Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), and National Center for Competency Testing National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160 hour minimum). OR
Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five (5) years. OR
Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical medical assisting. OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). OR
Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years. OR
Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years.
