About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Social Media Associate to support the planning, scheduling, monitoring, reporting, and optimization of organic social media activities across multiple markets.
This role will support social media calendars, content intake requests, platform publishing, YouTube operations, employee advocacy initiatives, campaign tracking, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable collaborating with teams across different markets and time zones, and committed to accuracy, clear communication, and consistent execution against global social media standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and quality-check social media intake requests, ensuring copy, creative assets, links, tracking, approvals, and posting details are complete and accurate.
Schedule, publish, and monitor organic social content across multiple platforms and markets.
Assist with paid social media execution and performance reporting.
Maintain social media calendars and proactively flag scheduling conflicts, timing risks, or priority changes.
Support YouTube operations, including uploads, descriptions, thumbnails, tags, playlists, embed codes, and performance reporting.
Build and validate UTM parameters and other campaign tracking requirements.
Support recurring social media reporting by organizing platform data, validating accuracy, and identifying basic performance trends.
Assist with employee advocacy platform execution, reporting, and content coordination.
Ensure social content follows established brand guidelines, templates, social media standards, and channel best practices.
Maintain competitive examples, platform updates, and best practices to support ongoing social media planning.
Qualifications
2+ years of hands-on experience managing social media channels.
Experience working with global or multi-market teams across different time zones.
Hands-on experience publishing, monitoring, and reporting natively across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube.
Experience with social media management platforms; Hootsuite is preferred but not required.
Experience with or exposure to employee advocacy platforms.
Basic understanding of social media reporting, analytics, and key performance metrics.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work with and interpret data.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across multiple teams and countries.
Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding content, tracking, and data accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting other digital marketing channels.
Experience with ClickUp, Marketo, Microsoft Dynamics or another CRM platform, and Demandbase or another ABM platform.
Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
