DevOps Engineer

This individual will be working on a DevOps team whose charter is to build and maintain a CI/CD framework that will be used across all of Platform Engineering. The ideal candidate will have had experience developing CI/CD frameworks utilizing modern tools in cloud environments. This is greenfield development so bring your best ideas on how we can utilize the most modern tools.
Responsibilities
Champion best practices for Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment.
Build and maintain cloud orchestration scripts that readily spin up new instances of our tools and applications for dev, testing and production targets.
Build and maintain a testing framework that integrates into deployment systems so that code changes are fully qualified before making their way into production.
Facilitate a deployment process that allows for frequent deployments with zero downtime and full test coverage.
Manage best in class monitoring and reporting of cloud services and our applications built on top of them.
Collaborate closely with other engineers to support the cloud-based solutions that meet our marketing and sales objectives.
Work on DevOps initiatives around Security, Observability, Cloud migrations
Be prepared to triage, diagnose, and remediate production issues at scale.
Skills
Experience with the orchestration of AWS cloud-based services using AWS CDK, Cloudformation or similar IaC tools.
Develop modern CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket, GitHub or GitLab.
Experience with cloud observability tools like Datadog.
Experience with regression, unit, RUM and testing automation.
Comfortable with at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Go etc.
Experience with modern code repositories such as Bitbucket or GIT.
Knowledge of Linux administration and networking.
Knowledge of agile software development lifecycles Scrum and Kanban.
