Role Overview
As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting patients on their recovery journey. Working under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, you will assess patient interactions, plan therapeutic activities, and maintain a safe, supportive environment. Your work will directly contribute to the well-being and recovery of individuals in our care.

What You Will Do
Monitor individual and group interactions to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
Facilitate small group discussions and recreational activities to support patient recovery.
Document patient progress and interventions in compliance with policies and procedures.
Assist in medication monitoring and ensure proper storage in the Halfway House setting.
Encourage patient engagement in 12 Step programs and recovery philosophies.
Maintain supplies and equipment for group activities and ensure a clean, safe environment.

What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver's License with no DUI's or OWI's in the past 5 years.
Must obtain CPI certification within 120 days of employment and maintain it thereafter.
Basic Life Support Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 120 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of two years of personal recovery experience.
Some experience in the Mental Health (MH) or Substance Use Disorder (SUD) space.
