Target rate: $50–80/hour · Remote, United States · 1099 contract bench
We need developers who build accessible, well-designed web applications for federal users, end to end.
What you'll do
Build web applications in React or Angular with Python, Node or Java back ends
Design clean user flows and test them with real users
Make every page meet Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA
Write APIs, tests and deployment scripts
Required
3+ years of full-stack development
React, Angular or Vue, plus one back-end language
Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility
Preferred
Section 508 testing tools (axe, ANDI, screen readers)
UX research or design experience (Figma)
U.S. Web Design System (USWDS)
How our bench works. This is a bench role: there are no guaranteed hours. When a federal bid fits your background, we name you on it at your agreed rate, and you sign a short commitment before we submit. If we win, you do the work at that rate and those hours. Remote, 1099 hourly; full-time seats may be W-2. U.S. citizens and permanent residents only.
