Target rate: $50–80/hour · Remote, United States · 1099 contract bench
We need environmental scientists who pair field science with data and models.
What you'll do
Advise on hydrology, water resources and environmental data
Build or review hydrologic and environmental models
Support fisheries and ecological data projects
Co-author technical reports
Required
Graduate degree in hydrology, environmental science or a related field
3+ years of professional or research work
Modeling or data analysis (HEC-RAS, SWAT, R or Python)
Preferred
Federal agency work (USGS, NOAA, USACE, EPA)
Fisheries or ecological modeling
Professional Hydrologist certification
How our bench works. This is a bench role: there are no guaranteed hours. When a federal bid fits your background, we name you on it at your agreed rate, and you sign a short commitment before we submit. If we win, you do the work at that rate and those hours. Remote, 1099 hourly; full-time seats may be W-2. U.S. citizens and permanent residents only.
