Modern trade and Retail Executive

Hi Tea is a growing ready-to-drink green tea brand available through Amazon, Blinkit and Nature’s Basket, with plans to expand our offline retail presence.
We are looking for a Modern Trade & Retail Procurement Executive to help us grow our presence across supermarkets, premium grocery stores, retail chains and other offline channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach supermarkets, premium grocery stores, cafés and retail chains for product listings.
- Build relationships with store owners, purchase managers and category buyers.
- Coordinate product onboarding, listings, pricing and commercial discussions.
- Negotiate margins, schemes, promotions and visibility opportunities.
- Follow up on purchase orders, stock availability and replenishment.
- Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to increase sales.
- Coordinate with distributors, retailers and internal operations teams.
- Visit stores regularly to check product availability, shelf placement and visibility.
- Track competitor products, pricing, promotions and market activity.
- Maintain regular reports of accounts, orders, sales and new opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in FMCG, modern trade, retail sales, procurement or business development.
- Experience dealing with supermarkets, premium grocery stores or retail chains is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable with field visits across Mumbai.
- Commercially minded and target-oriented.
- Experience in beverages, food, FMCG or consumer brands will be an advantage.
