About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SharePoint Developer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing SharePoint sites and applications to support our organizational needs. Your expertise will help optimize SharePoint functionalities, ensuring seamless site operations, security, and user experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree with at least four years of relevant experience or a high school diploma/GED with eight years of specialized SharePoint experience. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in developing complex SharePoint workflows, custom-tailored solutions, and data exports to maximize automation and reporting capabilities. Experience in maintaining site content, structure, and security permissions across multiple networks is essential. Additionally, candidates must hold an active Security+ certification and possess a current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph clearance. Prior experience working with secure government systems and integrating SharePoint solutions with enterprise databases is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Develop SharePoint-enabled solutions aligned with design objectives to enhance organizational workflows and user experience.
Design, develop, and maintain core components of the SharePoint environment, including custom web parts, forms, and workflows using SharePoint Server and related tools.
Create and support websites via SharePoint, ensuring content accuracy, security, and accessibility.
Maintain and update SharePoint applications, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Design and manage SharePoint environments across multiple networks, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.
Gather functional requirements from various stakeholders, translating them into technical solutions using SharePoint Designer, SPFx, and other development tools.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement SharePoint solutions that meet organizational needs, including data management, automation, and reporting.
Monitor SharePoint systems for potential issues, performing regular backups, updates, and restoration procedures as needed.
Engage in domestic travel up to 25% to support onsite project requirements and client meetings.
