Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end operations for large-scale e-commerce fulfillment centers and warehouses.
Manage facilities of 1.5 lakh+ sq. ft., including conveyors, multi-tier shelving, and other warehouse infrastructure.
Lead large teams comprising 10+ white-collar and 300+ blue-collar employees, with direct reporting responsibility for white-collar teams.
Drive manpower planning, shift rosters, productivity, performance management, and employee development.
Manage the site P&L, including cost control, budgeting, resource optimization, and margin improvement initiatives.
Ensure operational excellence across inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
Manage warehouse assets and ensure optimum utilization, maintenance, and availability.
Monitor key operational KPIs, productivity, quality, safety, and SLA adherence.
Identify process gaps and implement cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct performance reviews, coach team members, and develop career paths for high-performing employees.
Collaborate with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
Handle escalations and drive timely resolution of operational and customer issues.
Lead peak-volume planning and ensure adequate capacity, manpower, and infrastructure readiness.
Build a high-performing team and motivate employees to achieve business and operational targets.
Key Requirements:
8–11 years of experience in e-commerce warehousing, fulfillment centers, or large-scale warehouse operations.
Experience with organizations such as Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance, or similar e-commerce/logistics companies preferred.
Experience managing a 1.5 lakh+ sq. ft. facility with large-scale automation/infrastructure.
Proven experience managing 10+ white-collar and 300+ blue-collar employees.
Strong exposure to warehouse P&L, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and people-management skills.
Assamese-speaking candidates preferred.
