Role Description The Social Media Intern (Off-site) is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting Grayson Digital’s social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels. Day-to-day tasks include creating and scheduling social media content, assisting with copywriting and basic graphic assets, and helping ensure brand consistency across posts and campaigns. The intern will monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages under guidance, and compile performance metrics to support reporting and optimization. Additional responsibilities include researching industry trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to suggest new content ideas and campaign improvements. The intern will collaborate with the marketing and digital strategy teams, participate in virtual meetings, and contribute to ongoing performance marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing to support campaign execution and performance-focused initiatives.
Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing to create engaging posts aligned with brand and growth objectives.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and engage with online communities.
Basic understanding of major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) and awareness of current social media trends.
Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy tailored to different audiences and channels.
Organizational skills and reliability in managing deadlines, schedules, and multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics dashboards is an advantage.
Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a program in marketing, communications, media, or a related field is preferred but not required.
