Role Description The Event Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for planning, organizing, and executing corporate and promotional events. Day-to-day activities include developing event concepts, preparing detailed project plans, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and managing event budgets and timelines. The role involves overseeing logistics such as venue selection, contracts, catering, audio-visual arrangements, décor, and staffing, while ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations. The Event Manager will monitor event progress, troubleshoot issues in real time, and conduct post-event evaluations to improve future events. This position collaborates closely with marketing, operations, and leadership to ensure events align with brand objectives and deliver a high-quality experience for attendees.
Qualifications
Proven experience in event planning and management, including end-to-end coordination of corporate or large-scale events.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients.
Ability to manage budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Comfort with on-site supervision, problem-solving under time pressure, and handling operational challenges during events.
Proficiency with basic office and collaboration tools; familiarity with event management or registration software is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
Attention to detail, a customer-focused mindset, and commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and engaging event experiences.
