We're looking for curious, analytical, and ambitious students to join our AI Automation Internship and gain hands-on experience with the systems that replace repetitive work — from workflow automation and robotic process automation to AI agents that act on behalf of users.
About the Internship
As an AI Automation Intern, you'll work on realistic challenges centered on automation — mapping business processes, building workflow automations, integrating APIs, and designing AI-driven agents that complete tasks end-to-end.
You'll learn how automation teams turn manual, error-prone work into reliable systems — process discovery, low-code/no-code automation platforms, LLM-powered agents, and the monitoring practices that keep automations running safely in production.
Responsibilities
* Map and document business processes to find automation opportunities.
* Build workflow automations with tools like Zapier, Make, n8n, or Power Automate.
* Connect apps and services through REST APIs and webhooks.
* Design AI agents that use LLMs to reason, act, and complete tasks.
* Build robotic process automation (RPA) bots for repetitive desktop tasks.
* Create chatbots and virtual assistants that handle real user requests.
* Automate data collection, cleaning, and reporting pipelines.
* Implement error handling, retries, and fallback logic in automations.
* Add human-in-the-loop approval steps for sensitive actions.
* Monitor automation runs, log failures, and debug broken workflows.
* Set up alerts and dashboards for automation health and performance.
* Write prompts and guardrails that keep AI agents reliable and on-task.
* Prototype automations with Python scripts and open-source libraries.
* Collaborate with other interns on cross-functional AI projects.
* Translate real-world business pain points into working automations.
Requirements
* Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field — or a strong self-taught portfolio of projects.
* Strong interest in automation and how AI changes the way work gets done.
* Basic programming or scripting skills (Python is a plus; no-code experience also welcome).
* Logical thinking with close attention to process details and edge cases.
* Curiosity about AI tools and a willingness to experiment with them.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently on technical challenges.
* Comfortable testing, breaking, and improving workflows iteratively.
* Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms is a plus.
* Previous professional automation experience is not required.
