Role Description The Area Sales Manager / Area Sales Executive – Personal Care – Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, North India will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence for Akava Luxury’s personal care and accessory product lines. This full-time role is on-site and based in Chandigarh, with regular travel across the assigned territories to meet distributors, retailers, and key accounts. Daily activities include identifying new business opportunities, managing existing channel partners, conducting product presentations, and ensuring effective merchandising and brand visibility. The role involves planning and executing regional sales strategies, tracking sales performance against targets, and providing timely reports and market feedback to management. The position also requires collaboration with marketing and operations teams, monitoring competitor activity, and ensuring prompt resolution of customer and partner queries.
Qualifications
Proven experience in regional or area sales management or executive-level sales, preferably in personal care, fashion accessories, FMCG, or related consumer goods.
Strong skills in business development, territory management, channel partner handling, and key account relationship building.
Ability to plan and implement sales strategies, analyze sales data, and prepare accurate forecasts and performance reports.
Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders across multiple states.
Comfort with fieldwork, frequent travel across Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, and North India, and working from the Chandigarh base location.
Knowledge of local markets, retail landscapes, and distributor networks in the assigned regions.
Proficiency in basic MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and use of CRM or sales reporting systems.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet targets, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of regional languages from Haryana, Punjab, or Rajasthan is beneficial.
