Role Description The Vice President of Resource Planning is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing how financial, human, and operational resources are allocated to meet organizational objectives. This role leads the development and execution of integrated resource plans, aligning business planning, financial planning, and operational priorities across departments. Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with executive leadership to define resource strategies, analyzing performance data and forecasts, and presenting clear recommendations to support growth and efficiency. The Vice President will guide cross-functional planning cycles, manage budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensure resource decisions are aligned with long-term strategic goals. This role also involves building and mentoring a high-performing planning team, implementing planning tools and frameworks, and driving continuous improvement in planning practices.
Qualifications
Strong Business Planning and Strategic Planning skills, with experience leading organization-wide planning initiatives.
Robust Finance and Financial Planning expertise, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation across complex organizations.
Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, build models, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
Proven experience in senior leadership roles, ideally overseeing resource or financial planning functions in a growth-oriented environment.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams and driving cross-functional alignment.
Proficiency with planning, financial, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, BI platforms, financial planning software).
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is beneficial.
