About The Role
The Product Support Specialist at Marvin plays a vital role within the Technical Product Support Department, acting as a key point of contact for customers seeking guidance on product options, pricing, and specifications. The role involves preparing estimates, structural analyses, and AutoCAD drawings, as well as providing technical support to dealers, channel partners, and trade professionals. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years of experience in estimating, drafting, construction, or a related discipline. A strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, and the ability to learn AutoCAD through provided training is essential. An associate degree in a related field is preferred, demonstrating foundational technical knowledge. Candidates should demonstrate technical curiosity, quick learning ability, and excellent self-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Responsibilities
Provide customers with accurate and timely guidance on product capabilities, limitations, and specifications to ensure informed decision-making.
Prepare detailed pricing estimates, structural analyses, and AutoCAD drawings to support sales and engineering processes.
Identify and solve complex, unique challenges through creative and practical problem-solving approaches.
Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, and other departments to ensure proposed solutions are feasible within production capabilities.
Support and educate dealers, channel partners, and trade professionals to enhance their understanding of products and services.
Contribute to departmental goals related to accuracy, responsiveness, and overall service quality, ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.
