About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SharePoint Developer to join MANTECH’s dynamic team in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing SharePoint sites and applications to meet the needs of our clients and internal teams. Your expertise will help streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and ensure the security and integrity of SharePoint environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SharePoint development, customization, and administration, with a focus on delivering scalable and secure solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical projects within a collaborative environment, supporting national security initiatives and enterprise-level systems.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of education and experience, including a bachelor’s degree with four years of relevant experience or a high school diploma/GED with at least eight years of extensive SharePoint experience. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in developing complex workflows, custom solutions, and integrating SharePoint with enterprise systems. Security+ certification is required, and experience working with secure government environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx), testing, debugging, and interfacing with senior military, civilian, and contractor personnel will be advantageous. Candidates must also hold an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to qualify for this role.
Responsibilities
Develop SharePoint-enabled solutions to meet specific design objectives, ensuring functionality and user experience are optimized.
Design, develop, and maintain key components of the SharePoint environment using SharePoint Server, including custom web parts, workflows, and applications.
Create and support websites via SharePoint, ensuring they are functional, secure, and aligned with client requirements.
Maintain and update SharePoint applications, managing site content, permissions, and structure across multiple networks.
Gather functional requirements from various stakeholders and implement solutions using SharePoint Designer and related tools, ensuring seamless integration and automation.
Monitor SharePoint environments for issues, troubleshoot problems promptly, and implement corrective actions to ensure high availability and security.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy SharePoint solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Travel domestically up to 25% to support project requirements and client engagements.
