Chief Strategy Officer

Role Description The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) is a full-time remote role responsible for defining, leading, and executing the company’s long-term strategic vision across all business units. The CSO will develop and refine business plans for consultancy, wholesale, greenhouse construction, and landscaping services, ensuring alignment with market trends and company objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting strategic and financial analyses, identifying growth opportunities, evaluating partnerships, and overseeing the implementation of key initiatives. The CSO will collaborate closely with executive leadership to set priorities, manage cross-functional projects, and monitor performance against strategic goals. The role also involves communicating strategic direction to stakeholders, refining processes for scalability, and supporting decision-making with data-driven insights.
Qualifications
Strong Business Planning and Strategic Planning skills, with experience developing and executing multi-year growth strategies.
Advanced Analytical Skills for market assessment, competitive analysis, and performance measurement.
Solid understanding of Finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and evaluating investment opportunities.
Executive Management experience, with a background in leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
Experience in agriculture, agritech, or related industries is highly beneficial.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating self-direction and strong organizational skills.
Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Business, Finance, Agriculture, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
