Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Peb Draftsman/Structural Engineer role based in Kochi. The role involves preparing detailed shop drawings for PEB and steel structures, including plans, elevations, sections, and connection details in coordination with project engineers. The team member will interpret architectural and structural drawings, convert design concepts into accurate technical drawings, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and project specifications. Daily tasks include revising drawings based on review comments, coordinating with design, fabrication, and site teams for clarification, and maintaining organized drawing records and documentation. The role may also include supporting structural calculations, reviewing fabrication feasibility, and assisting in the implementation and maintenance of BIM workflows where applicable.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Shop Drawings and Technical Drawing for PEB and steel structures.
Candidates should possess skills in interpreting and preparing Architectural Drawings aligned with structural requirements.
Candidates should possess knowledge and practical understanding of Structural Engineering principles related to steel and PEB design.
Candidates should possess familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its application in structural and architectural coordination.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar structural drafting tools) and basic BIM platforms is beneficial.
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Attention to detail, ability to read and interpret technical documents, and strong problem-solving skills are important.
Effective communication, ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and willingness to learn and adapt to project needs are expected.
