Role Description The Senior Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain software solutions and internal tools that support Esse India’s immigration and visa consultancy operations. Responsibilities include building and optimizing back-end web applications, integrating databases and external services, improving system performance, and ensuring software reliability and security. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Kerala, India, requiring close coordination with operational and consulting teams to enhance digital workflows and client-facing platforms.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience across the full software development life cycle.
Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and performance optimization.
Advanced skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and designing scalable, maintainable code.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in leading technical projects and mentoring developers in a team environment.
Working knowledge of modern frameworks, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD practices.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively on-site with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in building tools or platforms for service-based or consulting organizations is an advantage.
