Camp Worker- Outdoor Lab

Job Summary:
Planning and delivery of outdoor activities; serves as a resource for programs and shares specific skills; enforces safety regulations and applies risk management protocols. Must interpret and adhere to the safety regulations provided by the University, Outdoor Lab, and their supervisor. Knows and understands all emergency procedures associated with the program. Responsible for participants' safety and their whereabouts at all times. Maintains accurate program records including incident reports, health documentation and weekly reports. Job Duties:
25% - Equipment care and maintenance:
Maintains tools, materials and equipment in good working condition; properly store tools, materials, and equipment at the end of each work day; exercise common sense of use of all equipment, vehicles, and tools.
25% - Interior Work and Cleaning:
Cleans buildings and grounds to ensure that they are properly maintained, including meeting rooms, lodging facilities and restrooms. Assists with cleaning and disinfecting sinks, commodes, showers, trash collection, washing windows, light fixtures and covers, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, buffing and waxing facility floors.
25% - Outdoor Work:
Building, digging, mowing, weed eating, planting, maintaining grounds, bridges, decks, walkways and ropes course structures, and other related items; picking up all litter and debris, dock and waterfront work, lattice work. Raking leaves and pine needles; pruning trees and shrubs.
25% - Program Support:

Expected Hourly rate is between $12-$20/ hour depending on position and experience.
