Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Data Analyst at the National Bank of Cambodia, Koh Kong Branch. The Data Analyst will collect, clean, and validate financial and economic data from various internal and external sources. The role involves performing quantitative and statistical analyses, building dashboards and reports, and supporting data-driven decision-making for branch operations and regulatory activities. The Data Analyst will work with cross-functional teams to translate complex data findings into clear insights and recommendations for management. Responsibilities also include maintaining documentation, ensuring data quality and integrity, and contributing to process improvements and analytical tools used by the branch.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities to interpret complex financial and operational datasets.
Solid understanding of Statistics and Data Modeling to design, test, and refine analytical methods and predictive models.
Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency with data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau) for querying, visualization, and reporting.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
Experience working with financial, banking, or economic data is an advantage.
Ability to work independently, collaborate virtually with diverse teams, and adhere to high ethical and confidentiality standards.
