Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Package Consultant – SAP HANA FIN FI, with opportunities for professionals in the 1–3, 5–7, and 7–9 years of experience ranges. The consultant will work closely with client stakeholders to analyze financial business processes and design, configure, and implement SAP HANA FIN FI solutions that align with organizational goals. Day-to-day activities include conducting requirement workshops, performing system configuration, managing master data, supporting integrations with other SAP and non-SAP modules, and preparing functional documentation. The role also involves participating in testing cycles, resolving functional issues, collaborating with technical teams, and providing end-user training and post-go-live support. Consultants are expected to manage deliverables independently, communicate proactively, and adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret business requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize SAP HANA FIN FI processes.
Consulting experience in SAP FIN FI, including client interaction, requirement gathering, solution design, and stakeholder communication.
Solid understanding of financial business processes (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling) and their mapping into SAP.
Experience managing and maintaining master data within SAP FIN FI, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
Knowledge of integration concepts between SAP FIN FI and other modules or external systems, including testing and issue resolution.
Relevant experience in SAP HANA FIN FI aligned to one of the bands: 1–3, 5–7, or 7–9 years of hands-on implementation or support.
Familiarity with SAP best practices, configuration, and documentation standards; exposure to S/4HANA is an advantage.
Effective communication skills, ability to work in distributed teams, and strong time management in a remote project environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; professional SAP certifications are a plus.
