About the Role
We are looking for an Applications Developer to build application and integration components for a large-scale healthcare data migration solution. You will develop FHIR-based APIs, transformation logic, and data pipelines on Google Cloud, working closely with QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop individual migration components and integrations
Implement FHIR APIs and integration services
Build FHIR resource transformation logic
Implement JSON/XML processing
Develop data extraction and loading components
Implement business transformation rules
Develop API integrations with FHIR stores
Implement robust error handling and logging
Write unit and integration tests
Fix defects identified by QA
Participate in code reviews
Support CI/CD and deployment activities
Troubleshoot production issues
Required Skills
Strong programming in Python / Java / Scala
Hands-on experience with FHIR R4
REST API development
JSON/XML processing
SQL
Google Cloud Platform (GCP): BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions
Git and CI/CD practices
Prior healthcare domain experience (must have)
