About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated IT System Administrator to join our dynamic team at our Gernrode/Thüringen location. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure, supporting daily operational needs, and implementing digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to managing complex IT environments. Qualifications
The successful candidate should have a completed vocational training or degree in an IT-related field, such as IT systems integration, IT electronics, or an equivalent qualification. Prior experience in system administration or IT support is advantageous. Essential technical skills include comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Client operating systems, network components, and IT security standards. Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Windows OS management is required. Experience with SAP systems and programming skills are considered a plus. The candidate should demonstrate a structured, independent, and solution-oriented work style, with excellent communication skills in both German and English. Reliability, team spirit, and a high sense of responsibility are vital for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and client devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
Provide first- and second-level support to employees, resolving technical issues efficiently and professionally.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, ensuring compatibility and security compliance.
Monitor system performance, conduct error diagnostics, and implement necessary corrective actions to maintain high system availability.
Administer user accounts, access rights, and IT resources, ensuring data integrity and security protocols are followed.
Participate in planning and executing digital transformation projects, contributing technical expertise and innovative solutions.
Enhance and supervise IT security measures, including firewall management, antivirus solutions, and data protection policies.
Create and maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and process descriptions.
Coordinate with external service providers and software vendors to ensure seamless support and integration of new technologies.
