Senior Director of AI

Role Description The Senior Director of AI at Go Big Partners is a full-time remote role responsible for setting the AI vision, strategy, and execution across the organization. This role oversees the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions that support core business objectives, collaborating closely with product, engineering, operations, and executive leadership. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading cross-functional AI initiatives, guiding technical teams on model architecture and data pipelines, reviewing project roadmaps, and ensuring responsible and compliant AI practices. The Senior Director of AI also evaluates emerging technologies, defines standards and best practices, manages vendor and partner relationships, and reports on performance metrics and ROI for AI investments. In addition, this role mentors team members, supports hiring and workforce planning for AI talent, and contributes to thought leadership and innovation efforts within the company.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and system design.
Advanced skills in Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition, with experience designing, training, and optimizing models for production use.
Expertise in Data Science and Analytics, including data modeling, statistical analysis, and transforming data into actionable insights.
Demonstrated experience leading AI or data-focused teams and projects, ideally in a senior leadership capacity.
Proficiency with modern AI/ML tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, cloud-based ML services).
Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic recommendations.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills in a remote, distributed environment.
Commitment to ethical, secure, and responsible AI practices, including governance and risk management.
Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in scaling AI solutions, managing budgets, and driving measurable impact in a growth-oriented organization.
