Sr Underwriter, Mid-Market Accts

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Underwriter, Mid-Market Accts based in the United States.
This is a full-time remote opportunity focused on underwriting complex mid-market employee benefits accounts.
You’ll evaluate cases covering approximately 1,000–4,999 lives and use advanced underwriting expertise to balance risk, pricing, profitability, and long-term customer relationships.
The role requires strong judgment when assessing complex risks and developing strategic solutions for evolving market conditions.
You’ll analyze economic and financial trends to inform pricing and retention strategies while considering the broader impact of underwriting decisions.
As a senior member of the underwriting organization, you’ll serve as a subject-matter expert and mentor to other underwriting professionals.
You’ll collaborate across departments to ensure decisions support both customer needs and broader business objectives.
