Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Production Head to lead and manage overall production operations at our Hassan manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining quality and safety standards, optimizing manpower and resources, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee day-to-day production activities at the Hassan plant.
Plan production schedules and ensure timely achievement of production targets.
Monitor production efficiency, productivity, downtime, and machine utilization.
Lead and manage production teams, supervisors, and operators.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and other resources.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, HR, and other departments.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, statutory, and company requirements.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Reduce production wastage, rejection, downtime, and operational costs.
Drive continuous improvement, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and productivity initiatives.
Monitor and maintain production MIS and daily/monthly performance reports.
Handle manpower planning, shift planning, and workforce allocation.
Ensure proper adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures.
Conduct regular performance reviews and develop team capabilities.
Support new product development, process improvements, and plant expansion activities.
Report production performance and operational issues to senior management.

Qualification
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Relevant experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment is preferred.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in plant operations, production planning, manpower management, process improvement, and manufacturing operations will be preferred.
