Role Description This full-time remote Junior PHP Developer role focuses on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using PHP and related technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, implementing back-end functionality, and assisting with front-end integration. The role involves debugging and resolving technical issues, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with senior developers, designers, and product stakeholders. The Junior PHP Developer will also help maintain databases, follow best practices for secure and scalable development, and contribute to continuous improvement of the codebase and development processes.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Programming and Software Development, including familiarity with PHP and modern development practices.
Experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development, focusing on server-side logic, APIs, and database interactions.
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to apply them to real-world projects.
Basic knowledge of Front-End Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and integrating front-end components with back-end systems.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment, with good communication and time-management skills.
Interest in learning new tools, frameworks, and technologies; openness to feedback and mentorship.
Relevant education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and basic understanding of software testing and debugging techniques.
