Role Description The Adjunct Professor for AI will design, deliver, and update course content in artificial intelligence, including lectures, labs, and assignments, in a remote learning environment. Responsibilities include preparing syllabi and learning objectives, teaching live or recorded sessions, assessing student performance, providing timely feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role also involves mentoring students, holding virtual office hours, and collaborating with academic and technical staff to improve curricula and teaching methods. This is a contract role, and the Adjunct Professor is expected to stay current with AI trends and tools to ensure that course content reflects industry-relevant practices.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in AI-related domains such as machine learning, deep learning, data science, or natural language processing.
Proficiency with common AI tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Jupyter, cloud-based ML platforms).
Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or academic course creation for AI or related fields.
Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, and assess learners in an online or blended learning environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
Master’s or doctoral degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a closely related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Industry experience applying AI in real-world projects, research, or products is highly beneficial.
Comfort working independently in a remote, contract-based role and collaborating with diverse, global teams.
