JL Closets, South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for an Accounting & Finance Lead to oversee our accounting and financial operations and lead our remote team based in Argentina.
This isn’t your typical back-office role—you’ll be a key part of our leadership structure, helping us maintain accurate financial operations, improve internal systems and processes, and provide financial insights that support strategic growth. What You’ll Do
Take ownership of daily accounting and financial operations—ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliant
Manage payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, and overall bookkeeping
Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverables
Prepare monthly financial reports with actionable insights for leadership
Track budgets, cash flow, and financial performance to support smarter business decisions
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper accounting procedures and controls
Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processes
Identify and implement improvements in accounting and financial workflows, systems, and team processes
Support leadership with financial analysis and recommendations that contribute to business growth
What You Bring
15+ years of accounting or finance experience, with a strong track record in leadership
Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
Strong expertise in accounting operations, reconciliations, payroll, bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and financial compliance
Experience managing remote teams and working independently
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
A sharp eye for detail, strong organizational habits, and a proactive mindset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A leadership approach that balances accountability with coaching and team development
Ability to take ownership and consistently follow through
