JL Closets, South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for an Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager to oversee our accounting operations, financial reporting, and remote finance team based in Argentina.
This isn’t your typical back-office role—you’ll be a key part of our financial leadership structure, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening accounting processes, and providing reliable financial reporting and insights that support strategic growth. What You’ll Do
Take ownership of daily accounting operations—ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliant
Manage payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, and overall bookkeeping
Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverables
Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports
Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to leadership
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper accounting procedures and controls are followed
Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial performance
Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processes
Identify and implement improvements in accounting workflows, reporting systems, and team processes
Ensure accounting information is complete, accurate, and available on a timely basis for management decision-making
What You Bring
15+ years of accounting or finance experience, with a strong track record in leadership
Strong expertise in accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, bookkeeping, payroll, budgeting, and cash flow
Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting procedures, and financial controls
Experience managing remote teams and working independently
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
A sharp eye for detail, strong organizational habits, and a proactive mindset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A leadership approach that balances accountability with coaching and team development
